The Zelestra Network Services Metadata Manager provides an easy way to add media object searching to a website.
Prepare and track your metadata using Excel or a desktop database such as FileMaker, then upload this information as a simple Comma Separated Variable (CSV) file to the Metadata Manager. Complex filtered and weighted keyword search functionality may then be accessed through embeded JavaScript within your website's pages to return search results a page at a time.
Complete metadata for specific media objects can be retrieved as Qualified Dublin Core formatted XML files or can be harvested by digital libraries using the Open Archives Initiative Metadata Harvesting Protocol (OAI).
